Acclaimed pop-rock band Morningwood’s new album Diamonds & Studs is the follow-up to their 2006 self-titled debut, which entered Billboard’s Top Heatseekers Chart at No. 1. Spin spotlighted the band as the “Artist of the Day” and wrote, “Frontwoman Chantal Claret’s killer ingénue persona gives audiences plenty to remember.” The band has performed on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Last Call With Carson Daly,” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Their music has been licensed for a plethora of video games, TV shows, commercials, and films, including Sex and the City: The Movie.
Lily Verlaine is a Seattle-based artist and performer who trained as a classical ballet dancer and is now renowned as a solo burlesque artist. At the 2010 Beaux-Arts Ball, Verlaine will reprise her popular “Picasso Piece,” a performance that incorporates movement and body painting in homage to Pablo Picasso.
