PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Art Museum continues its monthly artist talk series with a discussion led by TJ Norris on Thursday, March 12.
Norris will discuss works by Sol Lewitt and Marcel Duchamp currently on view in the galleries. “The pieces by both artists seem to harness a spirit of the absurd: a play on the inside/outside, a sense that something cannot be contained,” said Norris about the artwork he chose to discuss.
Ticket purchase to the gallery talk includes admission to happy hour held in the Museum’s Hoffman Lobby until 8 p.m. The first 50 ticket holders will receive a free beverage of their choice.
