School Tours
School Group Tours at the Portland Art Museum are free for K-12 students and $2.50 for college students, and available by reservation only. Tours of Museum collections and special exhibitions for kindergarten through college students are designed to meet the needs of different age groups, curricula, and interests.
Tours for the Visually Impaired
Free for members and aides; $3 Museum admission fee for non-members. Guide dogs are welcome.
The Portland Art Museum offers small, docent-led tours for visually impaired visitors on the third Thursday of each month at 2:30 p.m. The tours feature extended verbal descriptions of works in the Museum's collection, and offer tactile examples when possible.
