School Group Tours

School Group Tours at the Portland Art Museum are free for K-12 students and $2.50 for college students, and available by reservation only. Tours of Museum collections and special exhibitions for kindergarten through college students are designed to meet the needs of different age groups, curricula, and interests. To help us arrange the best tour for your group, please provide as much detail as possible when registering.

Reservations are required for all school group visits. Docent-guided groups must schedule at least three weeks in advance and self-guided groups must schedule at least two weeks in advance.

*Please note that only self-guided tours are available during the summer. Docent-guided tours will resume in October and be available for sign-up by early August.
