WeMake presents a conversation with Josh Higgins, creative director, typographer, and designer, about his work with type legend Doyald Young, what it was like working with President Obama, and how he leads the brand team of Facebook.

Explore works from the Modern and Contemporary wing through the lens of design. See how the museum is working with digital design partners and teens to promote digital design. Take a few minutes in the Northwest Film Center’s Whitsell Auditorium (located inside the Portland Art Museum) for an on-going exhibition of design-inspired animation by Northwest filmmakers and try your hand at direct animation techniques.
Design Week is a great time to reconnect and recommit yourself to art. A Portland Art Museum Creative License is an easy, low cost, no hassle way to see art, hear visiting artists speak, and be inspired all year long. The Museum and NW Film Center are yours for just $40.
