Papermaking with Pulp & Deckle
Welcome the start of July and the opening of Splashes of Color: Chinese Woodblock Prints from the You Wei Du Zhai Collection with a papermaking demo by Pulp & Deckle!
Pulp & Deckle is a Portland-based papermaking studio offering workshops and custom order eco-friendly handmade papers. They operate an artist residency program in collaboration with the non-profit arts organization, c3:initiative. They enjoy sharing the art, science, and history of papermaking with others and are excited to get pulpy with museum-goers! Stop by to see them demo papermaking techniques using the traditional Eastern fibers: kozo (mulberry) and bamboo.
Stay tuned to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for the latest updates.
