Have a personal treasure such as a painting, comic book collection, or silver bowl that needs some TLC, but you don’t quite know what to do?  Join us at our first ever public “Art Conservation Clinic” where regional conservators will come together to share their work and participate in a series of live consultations between objects and owners.

To be considered for a live object consultation with a professional conservator, please complete our online submission form with information and a photograph of your object (limit is two objects per person; submit each object separately). If your object is not selected, we will still be in touch via email with basic care guidelines and contact information for an appropriate conservator, if needed.

Submissions will be accepted through February 29, 2020.

Please remember that no appraisals or monetary valuations of object will be provided. This program is focused on object care and conservation.

Accessibility

The Portland Art Museum is pleased to offer accommodations to ensure that our programs are accessible and inclusive. All spaces for this program are accessible by wheelchair. Assistive listening devices are also available for lectures. All restrooms have accessible stalls but no power doors. There are single-stall all-gender bathrooms available. Please ask staff for directions.

We will do our best to accommodate your needs when you arrive, however, we need 2-3 weeks advance notice for some specific requests. Please email requests to access@pam.org, or call 503-226-2811.
