Join the Zoom webinar or view it live on our Facebook page.
For this month’s Art and Conversation, we are very excited to welcome and host author Raven Leilani for a reading and Q&A discussion of her book, Luster. Featured in this year’s Literary Arts Portland Book Festival, Leilani’s book follows Edie, a young artist, as she navigates “the constantly shifting landscapes of contemporary sexual manners and racial politics…”. Raven Leilani’s work has been published in Granta, The Yale Review, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Conjunctions, The Cut, and New England Review, among other publications. Leilani received her MFA from NYU and was an Axinn Foundation Writer-in-Residence. Luster is her first novel.”
