Art & Conversation
Join us the third Thursday of every month for coffee and conversation followed by a lecture or film screening. Coffee at 9:15 a.m. in the Fields Ballroom, Mark Building; lecture at 10:15 a.m. in the Whitsell Auditorium. This series is free for adults 62 and over.
This month, Curator of Native American Art Deana Dartt will highlight works from the stunning special exhibition, Native Fashion Now, which celebrates indigenous designers from across the United States and Canada from the 1950s to today. The exhibition features fashion objects for both men and women.
The Portland Art Museum is pleased to offer accommodations to ensure that our programs are accessible and inclusive. All spaces for this program are accessible by wheelchair. Assistive listening devices are also available for lectures. All restrooms have accessible stalls but no power doors. There are single-stall all-gender bathrooms available. Please ask staff for directions.
We will do our best to accommodate your needs when you arrive, however, we need 2-3 weeks advance notice for some specific requests. Please email requests to firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 503-226-2811.
