Join us the third Thursday of every month for coffee and conversation followed by a lecture or film screening. Coffee at 9:15 a.m.; lecture at 10:15 a.m. This series is free for adults 55 and over.
Join Dawson Carr, Ph.D., The Janet and Richard Geary Curator of European Art, for an exploration of Gods and Heroes, a rich overview of masterpieces from the École des Beaux-Arts, the original school of fine arts in Paris and a repository for work by Europe’s most renowned artists since the seventeenth century. The exhibition includes approximately 140 paintings, sculptures, and works on paper dating from antiquity through the nineteenth century.
