Artist Talk: Heidi Schwegler
In life, Heidi Schwegler is compelled by the ruin. In the studio, she is compelled to ruin things. She has participated in exhibitions at the Co/Lab Art Fair in Los Angeles, Scope Art 2004 in New York, and the Portland Art Museum. She has lectured on her work at institutions such as the Burg Giebichenstein, Cranbrook, and Kendall College of Art and Design, and currently she is Associate Chair of the MFA in Applied Craft + Design, a joint program offered through the Oregon College of Art and Craft and the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
