Ellen McFaddenA former student of the Museum Art School, designer, educator, painter, and native Portlander Ellen McFadden is deeply influenced by Constructivist art. Her recent paintings, whose titles evoke regional Native tribes, locations, and terms, create tension and optical play through shape, color, and the rectilinear confines of the two-dimensional canvas. She has taught design in the Pacific Northwest, Iowa, and most recently, at the Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute in China.

$5 members, $19.99 non-members, $16.99 seniors. Space is limited. Advanced tickets highly recommended.
