Artist Talks and Happy Hour – Rose Bond

Join artists from a range of disciplines in the galleries on the second Thursday of each month for lively conversations about works of art on view at the Museum and how they relate to their own practices. Each talk is followed by a complimentary social hour in the museum cafe with wine generously provided by Dominio IV Wines.
Rose Bond is an animator and media artist based in Portland. She is also Associate Professor in Animated Arts, Foundation, and Lead Faculty in Animated Arts at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Bond has been honored with awards and fellowships from the American Film Institute, The Princess Grace Foundation, Bloomberg L.P., and the National Endowment for the Arts. Her work has been presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, Croatia; the Smithsonian’s Arts and Industries Building; Exeter Castle in England; and in the Utrecht City Hall during the Holland Animation Film Festival.
