Chamber Music Northwest Community Concert
Taking inspiration from the work featured in the Museum’s exhibitions of Jennifer Steinkamp and a retrospective on architect John Yeon, Chamber Music Northwest presents the Grammy nominated Imani Winds as part of its 2017 Summer Festival. With two member composers and a deep commitment to commissioning new work, Imani Winds enriches the traditional wind quintet repertoire while meaningfully bridging European, American, African and Latin American traditions.
Presented in conjunction with the special exhibitions of video work by Jennifer Steinkamp (on view July 8 – September 17, 2017) and the work of John Yeon (on view May 13 – September 3, 2017).
Interested in bringing a camp or student group? Please pre-register by Wednesday, July 19 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your organization name, number of students and adults, and contact name and phone number for your group leader.
