The Museum will be helping Piano! Push Play! launch its 2015 season with a free concert on the Museum’s Roberts Sculpture Terrace on Friday, June 26. The event will showcase 10 pianos that have been painted by local designers and destined for various Portland sidewalk locations where they will be available for the public to play. In addition to performances by Ritchie Young and his band Loch Lomond, Becca Shultz from Ages and Ages, and composer Richie Greene premiering an original piece, the concert will feature a piano relay with all 10 pianos involved in performing one piece of music.
