Educator Workshop: The Poster Project: Bridging the Museum and the Classroom

Ka’ila Farrell-Smith, After Boarding School: In Mourning, 2011With generous support from the PGE Foundation, the Portland Art Museum has expanded the popular Poster Project and created eight, new, free posters this fall. Posters feature art across the Museum’s permanent collection from Japan, Mexico, Oregon, and beyond. Join us for this workshop: Deepen your knowledge of the original works. Make connections to school tours. Learn strategies for teaching writing, science, critical thinking, and more through art. Posters—and workshop—are available free to all educators.

The Portland Art Museum is pleased to offer accommodations to ensure that our programs are accessible and inclusive. All spaces for this program are accessible by wheelchair.
