FIELD TRIP: Portland Style Tour

The Museum once again partners with Know Your City for an afternoon tour, this time exploring Portland’s fashion and apparel scene. Board the bus as we make site visits and meet with local makers at design studios and workshops. Get a behind-the-scenes look at our fashion community and some of the people making Portland a fashion destination.

Field Trip Schedule

Meet at Portland Art Museum
Please plan to arrive at 12:45 p.m. for check-in. If the weather cooperates, we’ll meet in the Museum’s outdoor Sculpture Mall, just above the intersection of SW Madison and Park. If it’s raining, we’ll meet in the side entrance lobby near the gift shop.
1:00: Introductions and board bus
1:30 – 2:00: Dehen
2:15 – 2:45: Portland Garment Factory
3:00 – 3:30: Adam Arnold Studio*
3:40 – 4:00: Michelle Lesniak Studio

*Adam’s studio is “shoe free” so please be prepared to take off shoes. (festive socks encouraged).
