Based on Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling novel, Coraline’s heroine is an adventurous girl (Dakota Fanning) who discovers a doorway to a parallel world in her home. She thinks this strange universe is better than her own until the button-eyed Other Mother (Teri Hatcher) reveals her plan to keep Coraline trapped there forever. It’ll take every bit of the young heroine’s courage to escape back to the world she left behind. LAIKA’s first feature film earned Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Animated Film.

Presented by Northwest Film Center.
