Thomas Ebrey

One of the world’s foremost authorities on color printing in China, Thomas Ebrey will explore the genre’s oddly sporadic history, explaining Chinese woodblock printing techniques and the cultural contexts of the works in the exhibition Splashes of Color.

Presented in conjunction with the special exhibition Splashes of Color (on view June 25 – October 9, 2016).
