Members can beat the crowds and be among the first to see Animating Life: The Art, Science, and Wonder of LAIKA.

No advance ticket purchase is necessary—simply check in at the Museum’s box office as a current member the Friday before the exhibition opens to be admitted for members-only viewing times.

This exhibition contains a zoetrope that produces a strobing effect and may trigger visitors with photosensitivity or epilepsy. Staff are happy to direct you to another entrance or answer questions.

Accessibility

The Portland Art Museum is pleased to offer accommodations to ensure that our programs are accessible and inclusive. All spaces for this program are accessible by wheelchair. Assistive listening devices are also available for lectures. All restrooms have accessible stalls but no power doors. There are single-stall all-gender bathrooms available. Please ask staff for directions.
