2016-09-14T13:30:00-07:00

Take a break from your workday on the second Wednesday of the month and join a curator, museum educator, artist, or local scholar for a 45-minute talk in the galleries.

This month, Kristin Bayans, Manager of Interpretive Media; Sarah Lampen, Manager of Docent and Access Programs; and Jenny Herget, Early-Stage Program Coordinator from the Alzheimer’s Association Oregon Chapter will discuss the current Object Stories exhibition, artNOW! Living in the Present. We’ll discuss the impact of Alzheimer’s on our community through stories from the current exhibition, which grew out of a partnership program with the Oregon Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association called artNOW that provides a platform for people with dementia and their care-partners to connect with one another and others with shared interests through the Museum’s collection and art-making.

Space is limited. Advance tickets recommended.
