Paige Powell: The Ride Opening Reception with Pink Martini

November 4, 2015 @ 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Kridel Grand Ballroom

Pink MartiniWe welcome you to join us for the opening reception of Paige Powell’s new exhibition, The Ride. Enjoy special preview access to Powell’s multimedia installation and be immersed in the 1980s New York art scene of Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Kenny Scharf, whose just-announced companion exhibition Cosmic Cavern will also be on view.

Fresh off their European tour, Portland’s beloved ensemble Pink Martini will keep the party hopping with an evening of globe-trotting, genre-crossing music and dancing. Transport yourself to the middle of a samba parade in Rio de Janeiro, a French music hall in the 1930s or a palazzo in Napoli. Dance the night away with Portland’s very own “little orchestra.”

No host bar and food.
