Piano. Push. Play. 2017 Kickoff Concert

June 30, 2017 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Piano. Push. Play. graphicIt’s happening. Again! This summer, 10 pianos will be placed on Portland street corners and in our public parks. All 10 rescued pianos have been given new life by an amazing group of artists, designers, architects, and musicians: Portugal. The Man, Sera Architects, Lettie Jane Rennekamp, Tattly, Portland Gear, Heidi Marble, Doug Fir, Dowa-Ibi Group Architects, Open Eye Art, and Sign of the Beast Burlesque.

Join us for the annual kickoff concert, hosted by Alex Falcone with scheduled performances by Robin Bacior, Taylor Hill, Megan Diana, Jackson Grace and several spots for audience member performances. Be sure to put your name in the hat for a chance to play a song!

The Portland Art Museum is pleased to offer accommodations to ensure that our programs are accessible and inclusive. All spaces for this program are accessible by wheelchair. Assistive listening devices are also available for lectures. All restrooms have accessible stalls but no power doors. There are single-stall all-gender bathrooms available. Please ask staff for directions.

We will do our best to accommodate your needs when you arrive, however, we need 2-3 weeks advance notice for some specific requests. Please email requests to access@pam.org, or call 503-226-2811.
