Pop-up Improv Comedy with Samantha Springer and Kickstand Comedy
The Pop-up Improv series is a collaboration between the Portland Art Museum and Kickstand Comedy that invites visitors to experience art through comedy. From repainting outdoor sculpture with military-grade paint to stabilizing glazed ceramics by removing soluble salts, art conservation utilizes a variety of scientific and technical practices to preserve the intent and aesthetic value of art for generations to come. Join us as a handful of Portland’s most talented improvisers draw inspiration for scenes from commentary by the Museum’s Conservator Samantha Springer.
Space is limited. Guests are invited to arrive early to secure seating.
