We Construct Marvels Between MonumentsAs part of the ongoing programming for We. Construct. Marvels. Between. Monuments., Public Annex leads a monthly Contemporary Trends class, free and open to the public, at Portland Art Museum, exploring a different section of the Museum each month, creating a space for discovery and discussion amongst people who identify with and without disability. The program will take place on Free First Thursday evenings from 5-7 p.m.

The January program will focus on  Labor Standards the current exhibition of work by artist Rodrigo ValenzuelaSome of the questions to be discussed will include: What are your experiences with work? What labor do you find meaningful? Have you ever been unpaid/underpaid for your work? How can we build a dialogue around equity and labor? Join us for an open discussion that will touch on histories and experiences of artists and folks in the disability community with work and labor.
