Public Annex’s Contemporary Trends Class

As part of the ongoing programming for We. Construct. Marvels. Between. Monuments., Public Annex leads a monthly Contemporary Trends class, free and open to the public, at Portland Art Museum, exploring a different section of the Museum each month, creating a space for discovery and discussion amongst people who identify with and without disability. The program will take place on Free First Thursday evenings from 5-7 p.m.

Please meet in the Hoffman Lobby (entrance near the Museum Shop).

Public Annex-Contemporary Trends Class

This month the Contemporary Trends class will meet in the Construct exhibition on the 4th floor of the Modern and Contemporary galleries. Meet in the Hoffman lobby or join us in the exhibition.

Readings and Performance featuring Tropic Green

Begins at 6 p.m.
TropicGreen/Adee Roberson was born in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1981. Her work weaves sonic and familial archives, with landscape, technicolor, rhythm, form, and spirit. She has exhibited and performed at numerous venues including, Portland Institute of Contemporary Art, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Charlie James Gallery, Contemporary Art Center New Orleans, and Art Gallery of Windsor, Ontario. She is based Los Angeles, California.

The Portland Art Museum is pleased to offer accommodations to ensure that our programs are accessible and inclusive. All spaces for this program are accessible by wheelchair. Assistive listening devices are also available for lectures. All restrooms have accessible stalls but no power doors. There are single-stall all-gender bathrooms available.
