In March of 2015 the Museum lost the beloved chestnut tree that had grown along side the main building, providing welcoming shade to visitors for over 100 years. The wood from the tree was given to local artisans DSC_0011who have created everything from an outdoor bench to intricately turned bowls and vases. Come see the pieces and take home a piece of Museum history.
