The Education & Public Programs team at the Portland Art Museum and Northwest Film Center works to offer a full spectrum of programs and outreach initiatives that promote lifelong learning and build connections to our local community. Underserved groups across the region are also served through specific programs that reach veterans, LGBTQ youth, the Latino community, people with dementia and their caregivers, homeless youth, and the blind and low vision community, among others. Have Conversations Here
We encourage visitors to use the Museum as a space for dialogue and reflection, while always remaining respectful of all visitors. Explore together, look closely, and find a place within the Museum to sit and talk about what you see and experience. This Conversation Guide includes a few suggestions to spark thinking and conversation before, during, and after your visit to the Museum.
