Clement Greenberg: A Critic's Collection

Just as Clement Greenberg changed the nature of the discussion of contemporary art in the last half of the twentieth century, the acquisition of his personal collection has transformed the substance and future of the Portland Art Museum. The provocative and broad collection of contemporary art is gathered here for the first time in a beautiful, full-color 190-page catalogue.

Published by the Portland Art Museum in association with Princeton University Press, the catalogue's other highlights include a foreward by Museum Director John E. Buchanan Jr. with substantial contributions by Karen Wilkin and Bruce Guenther, curator of modern and contemporary art at the Portland Art Museum.
