Write Around PAM: C.E.S. WOOD

A blank piece of paper carries in it every possibility. It can take you anywhere you wish to go. We feel this same possibility in this piece by Charles Erskine Scott Wood, with it’s wide open desert and bowl of blue sky. This week, we invite you to go on an adventure on the page, stepping further into possibility. Before or after you write, take some time to learn about Wood’s life and art.⠀

Think of a place, real or imagined, that you have been to before and want to return to, or hope to go to for the first time. How can you get there? If you were giving someone else directions, what would you tell them? What would you bring with you? What would you leave behind? 

We have some prompts to help you get started. You can choose one, both, or follow your own adventure. Set a timer for 10 minutes and just keep the pen moving.
