Welcome, Educators! Please join us to discuss educator programs and resources and explore highlights of the Museum’s collections and architecture. We’ll visit the new Lana and Chris Finley Learning Studio, the Silver Family Youth and Community Gallery, the Mark Rothko Pavilion, and Black Art and Experiences. Come away renewed and inspired by art and community.
Admission is free. Light snacks and cookies provided.
The Portland Art Museum is proud to offer this program in partnership with six other Oregon and Washington museums during the Educator Free Weeks August 1 – 16, 2026!
Please let the front desk staff know that you are an educator participating in the Educator Free Weeks to receive your ticket. One per educator. (If you’d like to bring your family, youth 17 and under are always free.)
PAM hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM – 5 PM. Join us for additional programs and activities on Free First Thursday, August 6 at 10 AM – 7 PM and Miller Family Free Day, Saturday, August 8 at 10 AM – 5 PM.
Visit all of the participating museums! Japanese American Museum of Oregon, Lan Su Chinese Garden, Maryhill Museum of Art, Oregon Historical Society, Oregon Jewish Museum & Center for Holocaust Education, and Portland Chinatown Museum.
