Let your imagination soar as we investigate the art of designing worlds in miniature. In this camp, you’ll learn to plan and draw the layout and features of your mini world. Teaching artist Teeny Conway will show you how to use scale, proportion, symmetry, and balance to make your designs accurate and amazing. We’ll turn everyday items into tiny built environments and imagine the creatures who inhabit our spaces and places.

You’ll create with the elements of design and cool materials like clay, paper, plastic, foam, wire, and wood. We’ll incorporate basic engineering techniques and architectural principles to expand problem solving skills and ensure the stability and durability of your creations. Campers will engage in discussions about the essential elements of creating a thriving community and values while bringing their distinctive designs to life. Join us for an inspiring and imaginative exploration of community, creativity, and miniature world building this summer!
