About Portland in Color: (IG @portlandincolor)
Portland in Color began as a photo series by its founder, photographer Celeste Noche in 2017. A year later the series evolved into a directory and journal celebrating the city’s artists of color in partnership with Emilly Prado, thanks to partial funding awarded by the Rrts and Culture Council. Portland in Color seeks to disrupt the homogeneity of representation in Portland Arts and media by highlighting the voices and experiences of people of color. They have partnered with creative titans such as Swift Creative Agency and Portland Design Week.
