Welcome to PAM’s new and transformed modern and contemporary art galleries! The Museum has reached a historic milestone with the grand opening of the Rothko Pavilion and we are eager to activate the new galleries for learning. This program will focus on exhibitions in the north wing of the Museum, including Black Art and Experiences, Pipilotti Rist: 4th Floor to Mildness, and the Art of Mark Rothko. Enjoy brief presentations and informal discussion with PAM curators throughout the Museum’s north wing galleries between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. Visit the new Silver Family Youth and Community Gallery and Finley Learning Studio. Then, come to the Fields Ballroom for educator-led discussion and workshops, including the launch of the 2026 Poster Project, featuring works from PAM’s newly installed permanent collection. Make connections with fellow educators and come away with ideas and materials to share with your students in all grade levels and subject areas. Bring the energy of the transformed Museum to your classroom—Everybody Is An Art Person!
