The Portland Art Museum Art councils offer unique opportunities to engage with the Museum’s different curatorial focuses, and support our mission to inspire and educate through art. By joining a council, you’ll become part of a community committed to promoting the arts in Portland and beyond.
Councils are led by their respective curator and powered by dedicated council volunteers and council boards. Each council hosts events, tours, and programs tailored to their members’ interest. As a council member, you’ll have access to exclusive opportunities to connect with artists, curators, and other like-minded individuals who share a passion for the arts.
